Tamiflu.
Tamiflu (oseltamivir) is commonly prescribed for patients that have had flu for no longer than two days and works by stopping the spread of flu in the body. Take the liquid form of Tamiflu without mixing it with any other liquids – take it right from the measuring device. It's important to make sure you are taking the right dose as using less of Tamiflu is going to be inefficient, while using more of it can cause an overdose and bring unpleasant symptoms. Taking Tamiflu with milk is possible – you can do so if you are afraid you may get an upset stomach. Make sure you tell your health care provider if you are taking oral steroids, azathioprine, tacrolimus, sirolimus, cancer chemotherapy medications, cyclosporine, or methotrexate. Any medical conditions you have that may affect the success of your treatment are also supposed to be reported – especially acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, lung disease, kidney disease, liver disease, human immunodeficiency virus, heart disease, and some other ones. Tell your health care provider if your mild side effects do not go away for a long time. The following ones are possible: diarrhea, vomiting, headache, and stomach pain.
